Ship Louis (Leib) Muskal sailed to NY in 1914 with daughter Rosie.

The SS Acropolis
This ship brought Ester Malka (Molly) Muskzal and her children Regina, Harry, Aaron and Bertha to America on September 01, 1922. They were kosher and packed what they thought was enough food for the trip. Bad weather, navigational difficulties, port quotas, and the Labor Day holiday caused the trip to be longer than planned. Molly’s husband Louis learned the ship was in port. Daughter Sarena cooked and Louis delivered the food to his hungry family stranded in NY harbor via rowboat to a bucket hung overboard.
